found in grassland to montane forest, alpine meadows and moist, weedy areas 2

Creamy white in globular heads 1


Creeping herb 1

Distinguishing characteristics (within family/genus):

Fruits form reddish heads, each fruit is barbed and clings to clothing and shoelaces
