Tufted annual or short-lived perennial with culms to 60 cm high ¹

Distinguishing characteristics (within family/genus):

Leaves of this species are mostly basal and approximately 40 cm long and to 11 mm wide. The inflorescence is umbel like and flowers have 3 stamens ¹
