Flower Description:



Terrestrial, epiphytic of geophytic fern to 50 cm tall 1

Distinguishing characteristics (within family/genus):

Fronds are simple or lobed, sori are oval or round and prominent on either side of the midrib. This species differs from Microsorum scandens by having a light green lamina and leaf scales on the rhizome that are deciduous and are pressed against the rhizome 2
