There are two varieties, both are found at the Prom. Mitrasacme pilosa var. pilosa has shorter pedicels (to 10 mm long) and a hairy calyx. Mitrasacme pilosa var. stuartii has long pedicels (15-65 mm) and a calyx without hairs 2
