Common on dunes and sandy soils, in near-coastal scrubs and woodlands and sometimes colonising bare ground ^1,2

Pale blue or white ²

Habit:

Herb to 50 cm high ²

Distinguishing characteristics (within family/genus):

Flowers are five-petalled and fan shaped, leaves are usually toothed and less than 5 cm long ^1,2
