Perennial creeping rush to 37 cm high ¹

Distinguishing characteristics (within family/genus):

This species has erect rigid culms (stems). The inflorescence is loosely hemispherical to 1 cm in diameter, involucral bracts are to 6 cm long. The nut is triangular in cross section ¹
