Flower Description:
Pale to deep blue, often with darker streaks

Habit:
Terrestrial orchid 20-100 cm tall
Distinguishing characteristics (within family/genus):
The flowering stem is green with shades of red or purple. The leaf is 40 mm long and 15 mm wide and channeled. The inflorescence is 2-28 flowered and is sweet- scented. This species is similar in appearance to T. ixioides however specimens of T. media are more robust
