Common in sheltered gullies, in rock clefts, at the base of cliffs and on stream banks ¹

Erect or shortly creeping ground fern, fronds 30-75 cm long ²

Distinguishing characteristics (within family/genus):

Fronds are pale green, tripinnate at the base and bipinnate towards the apex. Sori are on the underside beneath a rolled over margin ¹
